Daytime Activities
The Miller Club has two main purposes:
- We provide Volunteers to support the Front of House and Backstage activities of the Theatre, and
- We run a wide range of daytime Leisure Activities to help people stay physically and mentally active.
Most members have reached or are approaching retirement age, although we welcome people of all ages and abilities.
Volunteers work in clerical, administrative, technical, managerial and creative areas, depending upon their skills and availability. They give anything from a few hours of their time every month or so, through to a couple of days a week; some roles require volunteers during the daytime, others at weekends or evenings.
Our Volunteer Coordinator is Helena Shore and she’s please to phone or meet potential new Volunteers to find out about their skills and availability, and to assign them to a team. Helena can be contacted by email: or phone the Box Office on 01883 349850 and leave her a message (Box Office open Mon to Sat, 10am to 1pm).
For a small additional charge (between £1 and £2 per session), members can take part in Leisure Activities, as shown at the bottom of the page.
